No-one understands
They never ask me why
They assume its because I am naive and innocent
I'm not I just know the harsh reality of it
That's why I am cynical
That's why I don't trust
No-one knows my secret
No-one wants to know my secret
For those few who did ask I told them a lie
I didn't want to face my own secret-- my own hidden truth
